Abbie Pedroza is an associate attorney who handles a variety of family and civil matters. Abbie takes a compassionate and understanding approach with her clients, while aggressively fighting for the best possible outcome in court or in mediation. Her goal is to make sure you feel heard, supported, and zealously advocated for.
Originally from New York, Abbie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Niagara University and moved south to pursue her law degree from Wake Forest University. After graduating from law school, Abbie relocated to the Washington, DC metropolitan area and served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Harry C. Storm in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. During her clerkship, she gained firsthand experience in family and criminal law by working on dozens of custody, divorce, and felony cases. Following her clerkship, Abbie Pedroza worked as an associate attorney with a small firm in Maryland and represented clients in family, domestic violence, and criminal law matters.
Always hoping to return to North Carolina, Abbie relocated to Charlotte and joined the JCDW team. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, baking, reading, and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and two dogs.
